The Fourth of July Parade has traditionally been held on Independence Day and is rated among the best in the Midwest. This year, the parade will begin promptly at 11 a.m. The route begins on Main Street from Crown Point High School, goes through downtown Crown Point and ends at the Tank on Goldsborough Street.

Day of Information:

• Parade: July 4, 2024, at 11 a.m. (South Main Street)

• Fireworks: July 4, 2024,  at dusk, approximately 9 p.m., at the Lake County Fairgrounds, 889 S. Court St.

The City of Crown Point invites everyone to the Lake County Fairgrounds (889 S. Court St.) for a fireworks display, which will begin at dusk on July 4. Early arrival is recommended. Vehicles may enter Gate 1 through the Court Street gate, or Gate 4 off 121st Avenue. The 4-H Building Entrance is for pedestrians only. 

Court Street from Greenwood to 121st avenues (Franciscan Health) will be closed for the fireworks. Please plan accordingly.

Upon exiting the park, please be patient with traffic. Our public safety employees greatly appreciate it!

NO personal fireworks will be allowed within the fairgrounds.

This year’s fireworks performance will be in sync with corresponding music that will be playing. Mad Bomber is providing this year’s Firework Display and corresponding music.
