NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME CELEBRATION – 5:00pm to 8:30pm at the Munster Community Pool (8837 Calumet Avenue). This nationally recognized event will begin with a performance of the National Anthem and will include a large number of both fun and educational activities for all ages.
Activities will include free swimming for Munster residents, door prizes, kids games, bounce houses, emergency vehicles. There will also be barrel car train rides, a police helicopter landing, over 100 booth participants, music, K-9 demonstrations, costumed characters.
There will also be free snow cones, Magic Show, Music, Safety Mascots, Glow Necklaces for kids, Door prizes, a Touch a Truck display for kids, Citizenship Awards, food, an American Red Cross Blood Drive, crime prevention information.

All Munster residents are encouraged to turn on their porch lights on the night of August 2nd to show their support for the event!
