 NIGHT OUT AGAINST CRIME CELEBRATION – 5:00pm to 8:30pm at the Munster Co
 mmunity Pool (8837 Calumet Avenue).  This nationally recognized event wi
 ll begin with a performance of the National Anthem and will include a larg
 e number of both fun and educational activities for all ages.\nActivities 
 will include free swimming for Munster residents\, door prizes\, kids game
 s\, bounce houses\, emergency vehicles.   There will also be barrel ca
 r train rides\, a police helicopter landing\, over 100 booth participants\
 , music\, K-9 demonstrations\, costumed characters.\nThere will also be  
 free snow cones\, Magic Show\, Music\, Safety Mascots\, Glow Necklaces for
  kids\, Door prizes\, a Touch a Truck display for kids\, Citizenship Award
 s\, food\, an American Red Cross Blood Drive\, crime prevention informatio
 n.\nYou don’t want to miss this fun and exciting event! Fireworks by Kra
 zy Kaplans. \nAll Munster residents are encouraged to turn on their porch
  lights on the night of August 2nd to show their support for the event!
